Private Chauffeur Grasse

FTC RIDER provides private chauffeur and VTC services to and from Grasse, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The world capital of perfume since the eighteenth century, Grasse looks down on the bay of Cannes from its hills. Its historic perfume houses and its international museum draw day visitors from across the Riviera.

We operate across the south of France with more than 150 drivers.

Looking for a taxi in Grasse or a private chauffeur you can rely on? FTC Rider gives you the convenience of a taxi — booked and paid online, a fixed price agreed before you travel, a professional driver — with no meter and no surcharges. We cover transfers from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, runs to Cannes and Nice, and half-days around the perfume houses.

Airport transfers to Grasse

Allow about 40 minutes from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport on the A8, rather less from Cannes-Mandelieu Airport. Your driver tracks your flight number and moves the pickup if you are delayed, at no extra charge.

The old town of Grasse is a maze of steep lanes, awkward by car and short of parking. We set you down as close as possible to your perfumery or hotel.

Journey times from Grasse

As a guide, in normal traffic:

– Mougins: 20 minutes
– Valbonne and Sophia Antipolis: 25 minutes
Cannes: 25 minutes
– Gourdon and the Loup gorges: 30 minutes
– Antibes: 30 minutes
– Cannes-Mandelieu Airport: 30 minutes
Saint-Paul-de-Vence: 40 minutes
– Nice Airport: 40 minutes
Nice city centre: 45 minutes

The road up to Grasse is winding, so it is worth allowing extra time before a flight.

The perfume houses and the museum

Fragonard, Molinard and Galimard are open all year, with guided tours and workshops where you blend your own scent — two to three hours, and worth booking ahead.

The International Perfume Museum in the centre traces five thousand years of fragrance. In August the Jasmine Festival fills the town and complicates traffic, so book early over that period.

Many clients come up from Cannes or Nice for the day: a workshop in the morning, lunch in the old town, back in the late afternoon. Hiring a driver avoids parking twice.

The hinterland and the hill villages

Grasse opens onto superb country: Gourdon clinging above the Loup gorges, Tourrettes-sur-Loup and its violets, Cabris with its view over the bay, and Valbonne with its grid-plan old town.

These roads are narrow and the villages have almost no parking. A full-day hire solves that and lets you string three or four villages together without stress.

Why choose FTC Rider in Grasse

A fixed price confirmed before departure, with no meter and no surprise surcharge. Booking and payment entirely online, 24 hours a day. Professional drivers used to the hill roads and to perfume-workshop timings. French and English spoken.
